Eating with the locals

I had my lunch along the pier where the locals gathered during lunch time and then for supper I went to a local canteen. There was a language problem, me no Turkish, them no English-  so I just pointed to three item among those on display and thought I would get a spoonful of each on my plate. But I got 3 plates, and I can proudly say I ate it all ;-) It was yummy!
Later I learnt that they do serve their food like that, each dish on a separate plate.
